FIELD: tobacco industry.

SUBSTANCE: smoking product comprises tobacco material, in which tobacco material contains from about 5% to about 60 wt % of microparticles of precipitated calcium carbonate, in which the microparticles of calcium carbonate are nonisometric, have an average diametre from about 50 nm to about 3 µm and dimension ratio from about 2 to about 12, and in which the microparticles of calcium carbonate have specific surface area from about 3 m²/g to about 20 m²/g, and in which the microparticles of calcium carbonate are evenly distributed in tobacco material.

EFFECT: improvement of tobacco product which can be manufactured using industrial and economically efficient method and will be characterized by reduction in the content of one or more Hoffman analytes in the mainstream smoke generated by the product.
