FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: method deals with manufacturing of filler being smoked. Method involves mixing of cellulose-containing material chosen from the group including wood substance, cotton or flax, thus forming fibre material. The obtained material is crushed and mixed with inert material deposited and crushed to particle size of about 0.5 to 1 mcm. Either chitosan, or liposan, or calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, or their combinations, are used as inert material. Sheets are made from the obtained fibre-containing material by means of method similar to paper manufacturing method. The above sheets are cut into strips thus obtaining filler being smoked with specific volume of more than 5 cm3/g. Method also deals with the manufacturing version of filler being smoked. Method involves mixing of material containing crushed cellulose with tobacco-containing material and inert material deposited and crushed to particle size of about 0.5 to 1 mcm. The obtained fibre material is mixed with bonding agent solution thus forming fibre-containing material, and humidifier is added thereto. Then sheets are made from the above material as aforesaid.
EFFECT: improving quality of the filler being smoked, burning rate thereof, smoke output, and reducing self-extinguishment.
