SUBSTANCE: method includes a stage of extracting the sign of the first fingerprint image obtained by the fingerprint sensor and the second fingerprint image stored in the database, using the network of automatic encoding/decoding to obtain the first sign of the fingerprint corresponding to the first fingerprint image and the second fingerprint sign corresponding to the second fingerprint image. In this case, the first fingerprint sign and the second fingerprint sign are of equal dimension. Next, a reduction in the dimension with respect to the first fingerprint sign and the second fingerprint sign is performed to obtain the third fingerprint sign and the fourth fingerprint sign, respectively. It is determined, whether the first fingerprint image and the second fingerprint image belong to one and the same fingerprint, according to cosine distance between the third fingerprint sign and the fourth fingerprint sign.
EFFECT: increasing the degree of the fingerprint recognition accuracy.
