FIELD: automation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automation and computer engineering, in particular to devices for monitoring electrical installation. Device comprises a first control microprocessor, first and second clock generators, first and second display units, a mode switch, a "start" pulse former, a "continue operation" pulse former, a"write" pulse former, program switch, stop indicator, buzzer, probe, “program” indicator, first and second load resistors, a second analysis microprocessor, a third switching microprocessor, a selection indicator, a selection unit, and a communication channel. Device consists of two parts and therefore enables to inspect the stranded bundle already laid in a closed channel, and in order to inspect a bundle with a large number of wires, remote units are incremented in blocks, while the main unit is structurally made in the form of a probe. In program mode, a bundle with special installation can also be inspected. Display units display complete picture of the status of the monitoring object (closure, breakage, special connections).
EFFECT: technical result is the simplification of the device, enabling inspection of cables with a large number of wires and with special installation.
