SUBSTANCE: system for maintaining pressure in the brake cylinder comprises a supporting valve, a brake line, an emergency braking reservoir and a brake cylinder configured for fluid communication with the brake line and the emergency braking reservoir. The brake line is configured to maintain present pressure inside the brake cylinder during braking based on the difference between pressure in the emergency brake reservoir and pressure in the brake line.
