SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of saving people by lifting them upward or pulling them aside (for example, from ice polynyas). Rescue gripper contains several variants of the structure. In the first embodiment, the gripper comprises a movably mounted spring-loaded handle with a lock locking in the open position two levers or two pairs of levers with brackets at the ends. Levers are attached to the base by one common axle or two individual axes and fixed with respect to the base by controlled ratchets or overrunning clutches and spring-loaded in the direction of mutual approach of the brackets. In the second embodiment, the gripper comprises a handle on a rigid rod and two double-armed levers with surrounding brackets, and the upper ends of the levers are connected by a flexible rod with a rescue cable. In the third embodiment, the gripper has the same construction as in the second embodiment, only the upper ends of the arms are connected by two upper levers pivotally connected to each other. In the fourth embodiment, the gripper comprises two spring-loaded two-arm levers with surrounding brackets and a handle disposed on the plate with a hole and with a longitudinal slot. Upper ends of the levers are connected by two upper levers. In the first embodiment, the gripper comprises a movably mounted spring-loaded handle with a lock locking in the open position the brackets. Brackets are fixed to one common or two individual vertical shafts. Shafts are fixed with respect to the base by controlled ratchets or operated overrunning clutches and spring-loaded in the direction of mutual approach of the brackets. In the sixth embodiment, the gripper comprises a handle with a rigid rod and two double-armed levers with surrounding brackets, and the levers are spring-biased in the direction of retraction of the brackets and are covered by a load-bearing structure with two wedge-shaped guides.

EFFECT: quick rescue of the victim is reached.
