FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: reactor column from top to bottom is divided into a mixing chamber, a precooling chamber, a chamber for collecting glass-like gas methane hydrate and water condensate, a separate low-temperature chamber is arranged outside the reactor. In mixing chamber there are gas and water sprayers of injector type connected to main high pressure pipelines of gas methane and water, and under the mixing chamber there is a precooling chamber separated by a fine-meshed horizontal partition, in which the convectors of refrigerating system of vertical arrangement is installed, a separator grid is further provided between this chamber and the collection chamber of the methane gas hydrate and separating the chamber for collecting glass-like gas methane hydrate and water condensate in which there is drain a chute installed with clearance to column walls and having an inclination towards the drain hole provided in the column wall through which a connection pipe with low-temperature chamber is passed. In the upper part of the low-temperature chamber there is a convector of the cooling system of horizontal arrangement, and in the bottom part there is a hatch for unloading the finished product.

EFFECT: invention is used for producing methane hydrate as a product suitable for storing and transporting gas in gas hydrate state.
