FIELD: mixing devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to produce methane hydrate in technological processes in the chemical and fuel industries. The device for producing methane hydrate contains a vertical cylindrical reactor, which is made with double side walls, the cavity between which is filled with liquid refrigerant and connected to a thermostat. A fitting and a nozzle are mounted through the side walls inside the upper part of the reactor, opposite each other. The fitting is mounted so that its axial channel forms an acute angle with the inner surface of the reactor and is located parallel to the bottom of the reactor, and the nozzle is directed radially to the centre of the reactor. The fitting is connected by a gas pipeline through a reducer to a cylinder filled with methane, and to the nozzle by the first water supply line equipped with a pressure gauge, a water tank is connected through the first valve and pump, which is connected to the water supply system through the second water supply system and the second valve. Pressure and temperature control sensors are located inside the reactor. The hole for unloading the finished product, made at the bottom of the reactor, is equipped with a lid.
