SUBSTANCE: facing is located on the rafters, and a gap or a slot is provided between the top edge of the facing and the ridge beam, which extends along much of the ridge beam to ensure an air flow channel for ventilating the structure. The transverse connecting strap is connected to the ridge beam and to the facing on both sides of the ridge beam.
EFFECT: connecting the rafters to the ridge beam by means of a transverse connecting strap, the shape of which provides an air gap in the roof ridge area.
