SUBSTANCE: method comprises the steps of: receiving a set of signals from an upper link; applying this set of signals to a set of inputs of a digital channel receiver, that has a set of outputs; applying output signals from at least one of such digital channel receiver outputs to a regenerative communication subsystem (RCS) and provide processed signals from the RCS to at least one of such digital channel receiver inputs. Whereby the applying stage of the processed signals from RCS to at least one of the inputs of a digital channel receiver includes connecting processed signals with a switch that selectively applies a signal from the specified upper link ray or processed signals from one of the outputs of the RCS to one of the digital inputs of the channel receiver.

EFFECT: reduction of transit satellite communication units required for data delivery.
