SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a picture classification method and to picture processing area. Method comprises: obtaining pictures to be classified; definition of the class of each picture, in accordance with the explanation of the characteristics of picture, the class containing a class of text pictures and class of non-textual pictures; classification of pictures, according to the class of each picture; adding each classified picture to the folder corresponding to the picture class and display of folder; or adding each classified picture to a series of collapsible images corresponding to the image class, and displaying a series of collapsible images.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of viewing text pictures.
