FIELD: biometrics.
SUBSTANCE: method for identifying an identity based on heterogeneous division of tender information of multimodal vein images is based on a two-layer model of unsupervised learning of sparse features and an improved model of binary coding of features with maximum variation between classes and contains the autonomous formation of a library of vein images, performing heterogeneous division of tender information of vein images of the back of a person's hand through unsupervised learning of sparse features, extraction of characteristic features based on the definition of a tender feature, calculation of binary code values of features and image coding weights separately, determination of similarity of feature vectors, identification of identity.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of identification.
