SUBSTANCE: platform for resources self-management, comprising: a plurality of resources including one or more batteries to supply power to the platform; a display for information presentation; network controller to connect the platform to a wireless network; clock to provide time to the platform; an operating system to manage one or more platform installations or memory for content caching, a user plan module to generate an activity plan for the platform user. The user plan module is configured to predict one or more of a meeting, trip, presentation, media use session, or use of applications to generate an action plan; and the action plan is to be generated based on one or more of the location information, calendar information, archive information, or information about the messages associated with the user; a resource plan module to generate a resource plan based on the action plan and the current status of the platform resources. The resource plan module is configured to determine one or more platform demand for the resources and availability of one or more resources from a plurality of resources to generate a resource plan; and an adjustment module to resolve one or more conflicts between the action plan and the resource plan. A conflict is the inability of one or more of the many resources to meet the need of an action plan for resources. The correction module is configured to determine whether the user is required to resolve the said one or more conflicts. In case, when no user engagement is required, the correction module is configured to determine whether user confirmation is required for one or more platform changes to resolve the said one or more conflicts. The correction module is configured to automatically implement one or more changes to the platform, when user engagement is not required and user confirmation is not required.
EFFECT: provision of automatic resource management, which makes it easier for the user to manage resources.
