FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: layout is designed to secure a retaining device for bath and/or shower accessories on a room wall equipped with a wall covering. The retaining device has a basic element extending generally in a horizontal plane, at least one edge rib located at an angle thereto, and at least one flange extending in a vertical plane, to be placed under the wall covering of the room wall. The basic element, at least one flange, and at least one edge rib of the retaining device forms a bath-shaped receiving element to accommodate an additional wall covering, the edge rib is made in the form of a flat element and serves as a limiter for the additional wall covering from its edge, and the basic element, at least one edge rib located at an angle thereto, and at least one flange is made as a unit.
EFFECT: improving the fastening reliability.
