DEVICE AND METHOD OF GENERATING EXPANDED SIGNAL USING INDEPENDENT NOISE FILLING Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G10L19/28 G10L21/38 G10L25/21

Abstract RU 2665913 C2

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for generating an expanded signal using an independent noise filling. Initial portion of the spectrum of the input signal is displayed on the target portion in the portion of the spread spectrum. First noise values are generated for the noise filling portion in the initial portion of the input signal spectrum and for generating second noise values for the noise portion in the target region. Moreover, the second noise values are decorrelated from the first noise values. Second noise values for the noise region in the target region are generated, wherein the second noise values are decorrelated from the first noise values in the original portion of the spectrum, the first noise values in the original portion of the spectrum are not the result of a noise-filling operation.

EFFECT: technical result is to improve the quality of the coded audio signal.
