FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: fibre-optic tensometric sensor consists of optical fibre coated with metal, two fibre bragg gratings (FBG), a protective tube and a sensor body. In this case, the optical fibre in the region of each of the two FBG is doped with germanium, and outside FBG is doped with fluoride to increase radiation resistance, the fibres are united into single fibre by means of a weld joint. In this case, the location of the FBG makes it possible to isolate one of the FBG from deformation to provide thermal compensation, the optical fibre is rigidly fixed in the protective tube, the protective tube is rigidly fixed on the body of the sensor, the body of the sensor has blind holes for attachment to an object under testing.

EFFECT: reducing the weight and dimensions of the sensor and increasing the accuracy of measurements.
