SUBSTANCE: synchronous generator contains a rotor (4) and a stator (6) having teeth (8) and grooves (10) located between them for receiving the stator winding. In this case, the stator (6) is divided in a circumferential direction into stator segments (31-34) having a plurality of teeth (8) and grooves (10). At least two segments (31-34) of the stator are biased or alternated with each other in the circumferential direction.
