FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drives of ore crushers or drum-type ball mills. Motor comprises stator and rotor made up of rotary mill carcass. Stator incorporates, at least, two different excitation systems. Mill carcass features toothed structure interacting electromagnetically with stator excitation systems to rotate mill carcass. Stator and/or rotor is made of segments. Windings representing tooth coils are made at stator segments boundaries so that in assembly of separate stator segments slot is formed at said boundary points to accommodate appropriate halves of two different coils of teeth. Stator/rotor segments may be shop-produced and tested separately.
EFFECT: ease of production.
