FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes the stages of: a) conducting the first polymerisation reaction in the reactor using the first catalyst system for the polymerization of the first polymer, b) stopping the first polymerisation reaction and removing at least the greater part of the polymer from the reactor, c) introducing a seed layer into the reactor, containing not less than 50 ppm of contaminants, where during storage the content of contaminants in the seed layer was maintained equal to not less than 50 ppm, but less than 500 ppm of contaminants, d) processing the seed layer in the reactor to reduce the amount of contaminants, and e) conducting the second polymerisation reaction in the reactor to receive the second polymer.
EFFECT: method allows to obtain a conditioned polymer product immediately after the start of the second reaction.
