SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of producing hydrocarbon products, including: preparation of the hydrocarbon stream (C4), which primarily contains branched and unbranched hydrocarbons, each containing four carbon atoms. The method is characterized in that the first and the second partial streams (i-C4, n-C4) are recovered from the hydrocarbon stream (C4). The first partial stream (i-C4) primarily contains branched hydrocarbons with four carbon atoms and the second partial stream (n-C4) primarily contains unbranched hydrocarbons with four carbon atoms, and c) steam cracking of at least part of the first partial stream (i-C4) or the stream produced therefrom at the first higher rigidity of cracking, and at least part of the second partial stream (n-C4) or the stream produced therefrom at the second lower rigidity of cracking, is carried out. The first higher rigidity of cracking leads to the transformation of isobutane in the first partial stream amounting to more than 91% and up to 99%, and the second lower rigidity of cracking leads to the transformation of n-butane in the second partial stream amounting to less than 92% and more than 50%.
EFFECT: use of the proposed method allows to increase the quantity of high-value products in the article.
