FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method for disposing the regeneration effluents of sodium-cationite filters includes softening of effluents with reagent-precipitators, clarification and electrodialysis. Regeneration effluents are divided into flows: breaking back washing flow, salt passing flow and a washing flow. The breaking back washing flow is directed to the clarifier, the salt passing flow is treated with sodium hydroxide solution and soda ash, calcium and magnesium salts precipitate are filtered, and clarified water is supplied to electrodialysis concentration unit, where it is divided into two flows: diluate and concentrate with 8-10% sodium chloride content which is sent to the storage tank of the working regeneration salt solution, the washing flow together with diluate is supplied to the reverse osmosis unit to produce desalinated water.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to eliminate discharge of salt solutions into the environment, reduce the energy consumption and improve quality of water returned to the process.
