SUBSTANCE: ironing device comprising reservoir (4) with water, steam generator (5) connected to the reservoir with water by a feeding loop and a water treatment device having cathode (10) and anode (11) for precipitating calcium carbonate characterized in that cathode (10) and anode (11) are placed in tank (7) independent from reservoir (4), which is placed in the feeding loop connecting reservoir (4) to steam generator (5), herewith the said feeding loop takes water from tank (7) through opening (70) positioned closer to anode (11) than to cathode (10), and in that the water flow rate in the zone of opening (70) is less than 70 g/min.
EFFECT: ironing device design is proposed.
