FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: rubber composition is prepared by introduction of a rubber component (A) comprising natural rubber in an amount of 70 wt % and more, and a rubber copolymer of styrene-butadiene, and further introduction into the composition together with the rubber component in an amount of 100 wt. p.: (B) of at least one type of thermoplastic resin selected from the number of resins based on C5, C5-C9, C9, terpene-based resins, terpene-aromatic compound-based resins, dicyclopentadiene resins and alkylphenolic-based resins, in an amount of 5 to 50 wt. parts; and (C) of a filler comprising silica and carbon black in an amount of 20 to 120 wt. parts. Silicon dioxide is moist silica with a BET specific surface area in the range of 200-250 m2/g and its content is 90 wt % and more. The composition does not contain a softener.
EFFECT: composition allows to produce a tread rubber that exhibits high braking characteristics on the surface of both dry and wet roads.
