FIELD: weapon and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: method includes introduction into the flight control system of a pre-formed flight task containing the missile's flight path and the aiming point, information about the type of target being hit, missile launch and flight to the point with given coordinates while maintaining its supersonic speed. The flight task is formed based on the initial data on target parameters. When the missile reaches the point with the given coordinates, the speed and altitude of flight relative to the target are determined with subsequent determination of the coordinates of the separation point for the elements of additional combat equipment, separation of the additional combat equipment elements at this point, restoration of the aerodynamic contour of the cruise missile, cruise missile stabilization, maintaining of flight until the main goal is reached. The elements of additional combat equipment are stored in separate containers, from which these elements are separated. The missile contains a glider, in the instrument compartment of which blocks of the control system on-board equipment, combat equipment are located. In the front part of the missile, additional combat equipment is installed, consisting of separate elements, made in the form of statically stable modules, placed in separate containers, with a possibility of elements separation from the rocket at the calculated moment of time. In the rear of the containers, plugs are placed with a possibility of longitudinal movement along the container under the action of powder gases and fixation on the missile shell. The front part of the plug is made with a profile similar to the profile of the corresponding part of the aerodynamic circuit of the missile.
EFFECT: combat capabilities and effectiveness in the defeat of dispersed targets are increased, missile controllability is maintained until the target is achieved.
