FIELD: testing equipment.
SUBSTANCE: automated device for cooling samples in bending fatigue tests at lower temperatures is proposed, according to which the cooling process is carried out combined, both due to a transfer of refrigeration on the refrigeration pipe and by the supply of cooled air into cryochamber. In this case, the processes described above are fully automated by controlling the temperature by opening/closing the chamber flap and heating to the necessary (stable) temperature refrigeration pipe clamp. In addition, an acoustic emission sensor is additionally mounted directly on the sample, and on drive device - a count of the number of cycles with an output to a computer for evaluation of the degree of destruction of the sample during the tests and the detection of dependencies of the number of test cycles on the stress occurring in dangerous section of the sample.
EFFECT: acceleration and automation of the process of cooling the samples during fatigue testing and charting process of acoustic emission parameter changes depending on the number of loading cycles.
