FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes charging a reactor for the gas-phase polymerization catalytic system, which includes hafnocene on a substrate containing pores saturated with the selected liquid hydrocarbon containing at least 12 carbon atoms and an activating reagent. Then, ethylene and alpha-olefin are reacted with metallocene on a substrate in the gas-phase polymerization reactor to obtain an ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer. The copolymer has a density of less than 0.93 g/cm3, the melt index (I2) - less than 2 dg/min, the ratio of melt indexes (I21/I2) - not less than 28.
EFFECT: improving the activity of the catalyst to produce polymers with improved characteristics.
