FIELD: polymerization.
SUBSTANCE: proposed catalytic compositions for polymerization and methods of obtaining these compositions. Described is a method for preparing a catalyst composition for olefin polymerization, comprising: contacting a supported catalyst with a fatty amine in a liquid carrier to form a suspension of a supported catalyst and a fatty amine in a liquid carrier; wherein said fatty amine is substantially free of fine inorganic material; and drying said suspension to form a substantially free flowing powder, characterized in that said fatty amine is represented by the formula (R1)xN(R2OH)y, where R1 is a hydrocarbon radical containing from 8 to 40 carbon atoms; R2 is a hydrocarbon radical containing from 1 to 8 carbon atoms; and x takes the value 1 or 2 and x + y = 3; and said supported catalyst contains one or more metallocene compounds selected from: (pentamethylcyclopentadienyl) (propylcyclopentadienyl) MX2,
(tetramethylcyclopentadienyl) (propylcyclopentadienyl) MX2,
(tetramethylcyclopentadienyl) (butylcyclopentadienyl) MX2,
Me2Si (indenyl) 2МХ2,
Me2Si (tetrahydroindenyl) 2МХ2,
(n-propylcyclopentadienyl) 2MX2,
(n-butylcyclopentadienyl) 2MX2,
(1-methyl-3-butylcyclopentadienyl) 2MX2,
(propylcyclopentadienyl) (tetramethylcyclopentadienyl) MX2,
(butylcyclopentadienyl) 2MX2, and
(propylcyclopentadienyl) 2MX2, where M is Zr or Hf and X is selected from the group consisting of F, Cl, Br, I, Me, benzyl, CH2SiMe3, and C1-C5 alkyls or alkenyls.
EFFECT: providing catalyst compositions suitable for the polymerization of olefins, having advantages in terms of production and handling, as well as capable of continuous operation in the polymerization process with increased reactor operation.
