FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to casting two-component silicone foam sealer operable in vulcanized state at temperatures from -120 to +250 °C, to seal components and parts that are subjected to intensive vibration effects, shocks and impacts and sharp temperature changes. Frost-resistant silicone foam sealant consists of two components: component A, comprising: 66.22–89.01 polyorganosiloxane rubber with viscosity of 600 to 7800 cps; 6–20 pyrogenic silicon dioxide; 0.7–2.0 platinum catalyst; 0–10 zinc oxide; 1–2 organic alcohol; and component B, comprising, by weight: 71.35–81.1 polyorganosiloxane rubber with viscosity from 600 to 7800 cP; 18–29 oligomethylhydridesiloxane with SiH = 1.5–1.7 %; 0–0.06 inhibitor-1-ethynylcyclohexan-1-ol or 2-methylbut-3-yn-2-ol. Foam-sealer is vulcanized at ratio of components A:B = 9:1.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to vary viability of sealant – from few minutes to 2 hours and time of full curing – from 2 hours to 24 hours, and also receive technological, nontoxic, elasticity-preserving sealant in wide range of temperatures.
