FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil and gas industry and, in particular, to the mechanised extraction of oil from wells by pumps. Method involves moving fluid or oil through boreholes with rodless and sucker-rod pumps driven by electric motors. According to the method, electrical energy is converted into mechanical energy by the interaction of conductors or windings under electric current with magnetic fields after electric voltage is supplied with a rotating rotor, mechanically or kinematically connected to the pump, with a given weight of rotating masses and moments of their inertia. With the supply of voltage to the windings during the start-up period, the mechanical energy of all rotating masses of the system is accumulated, which in turn is obtained when part of the electrical energy is converted during acceleration by the rotor. Said accumulated mechanical energy is stored and used in steady state operation in the form of kinetic energy. As a result, the sum of two components of the total mechanical work or energy is obtained: first – the work of electric current on the rotation of the rotor with the pump in steady state conditions, second – the work of accumulated mechanical energy, converted from electric energy during acceleration of rotating masses by the rotor, which is used together with the first.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of oil production by reducing the cost of electricity.
