SUBSTANCE: pressure regulator for liquid media comprises through-flow path (78) which extends between two connections (40a, 40b) for a medium-conducting line. Through-flow path (78) is equipped with valve seat (52) which can be released or closed by closing element (54) that is mounted in a movable manner between a closing position and a release position.
EFFECT: wear of closing element (54) and/or valve seat (52) can be monitored during ongoing operations.
