FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to extraction systems designed to extract radionuclides from carbonate-alkaline solutions, in particular americium and europium. Extraction mixture consisting of t-butylthiacalix[4]arene with a concentration of 4⋅10-2÷1⋅10-5 mole/liter and a water-immiscible organochlorine, aromatic, aliphatic or fluoroorganic solvent. Extraction mixture allows extraction of americium and europium in the pH range of 10.4–13.7 with an aqueous content of up to 8 mol/l of alkali metal salts, ensures separation of americium and europium, and the possibility of re-extracting americium and europium by dilute acid solutions. Extraction and re-extraction of radionuclides can be carried out at a ratio of volumes of organic and aqueous phases from 10:1 to 1:100, which allows to concentrate them hundreds of times.
EFFECT: invention can find application in analytical chemistry, as well as in the processing of liquid radioactive waste.
