FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mining and can be used in the mining industry, specifically, during excavation in hard bump hazardous rocks. System for explosive cut-off of a face of bump hazard rock, including main holes drilled perpendicular to the face, and pyramidal cutting of their four holes with five perimeter holes drilled perpendicular to the face, one of which is located in the centre of the cut, and four equidistant from the mouths of the cut holes, between the cutters and main holes, according to the invention, in each perimeter hole there are squibs and water stemming, while in the central perimeter hole the squib is located at a depth equal to the length of the cut holes, and in the rest at a depth equal to the length of main holes.

EFFECT: invention improves efficiency of breaking up rock during explosion of cutter and borehole charges, reduces the stressed state of the rock mass ahead of the mine workings before explosion of a set of blasting charges, prevents rock bumps.
