SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering and can be used in organizing of the coal dust combustion in the furnaces of boilers, combustion chambers and furnaces. Vortex pulverized-coal burner comprises a central channel 2 for accommodating the ignition device, around which annular channels are located: of pilot air 3, at least one circular channel 4 for supply of the air mixture and two annular channels of secondary air, internal 6 and external 7, and in the outlet part of the air mixture channel 4, flow dividers 11 are installed, which are shaped as sector sections of the air mixture channel 4 outer shell thickening with a one-sided oblique cut of the inlet part and arranged evenly along the circumference of the air-mixture channel 4, in the annular channels of the secondary air blade air swirlers 14 and 15 are installed. According to invention, novelty is the arrangement of the flow dividers 11 on the air mixture annular channel 4 outer shell, wherein the height H of the air mixture 4 annular channel and the height h of the flow dividers 11 has the relationship:

and a blade swirler 12 is located in front of the flow dividers 11 of the air mixture annular channel 4, wherein the direction of the flow dividers 11 unidirectional oblique sections inlet portions coincides with the direction of the swirler 12 blades twisting, direction of the installed in the secondary air annular channels 6 and 7 blade air swirlers 14 and 15 twisting coincides with the direction of the twisting in the air mixture annular channel 4.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce the emission of nitrogen oxides NOx (increasing the ecological characteristics of the boiler plant) while maintaining an economical fuel burn-out (low level of mechanical incomplete burning), and also to reduce the abrasive wear of the flow dividers in the air mixture supply channel outlet part.
