FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of construction, namely to methods for performing geomechanical investigations to determine mechanical properties of soils. Method for determining strength parameters of soil by rotational cut method involves crushing blade impeller into well bottom, impression of increasing torque to it, fixation of maximum torque leading to rotation of impeller by cutting ground along resulting cylindrical surface, and determination of strength parameter of strength of ground. Impeller immersed in ground has curvilinear cross-section blades, curved in one direction of torsion. Torque is first applied in one direction (clockwise), after which impeller is immersed a second time to a great depth or to an adjacent well located in the plan and apply torque in the other direction (counterclockwise). Determine the maximum torque for torsion in different directions, and the angle of internal friction and specific cohesion of the ground is judged by the magnitude of the maximum torque obtained in torsion in different directions.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the range of measured parameters, increasing manufacturability, decreasing the material consumption and measuring time, and increasing the accuracy of the measurement.
