Self-propelled mining machine contains a movable supporting frame, a rotating tool drum and tools for driving a mine, rotational drive for actuation of the tool drum, boom assembly, pivoting device for rotating boom assembly relative to the machine carrier frame around pivot axis (S) tilt device for tilting boom assembly about tilt axis (K), rotational mechanism. Tools for excavating the mine are distributed along the lateral surface of the tool drum, wherein at least one of the tools for driving the mining work includes a rotatably mounted tool holder with a supporting head configured to secure a number of bits. Boom assembly includes a main body and a front assembly of the support arm on which the tool drum is rotatably mounted. Rotary mechanism is provided between the carrier arm assembly and the main body for rotating the support arm assembly and the tool drum relative to the main body about the longitudinal axis (L) of the boom assembly. Support arm assembly is substantially L-shaped and/or hollow, and a gear train is mounted in the carrier arm assembly.

EFFECT: continuous tunneling, galleries or shafts even in hard rock with high productivity and with little tool wear.
