SUBSTANCE: mining machine intended for laying tunnels or underground mining ways. Cutting head for extracting hard rocks from the rock face plane contains a holder configured to be attached to the cutting arm of the cutting device, a drive shaft supported rotatably by the specified holder, while the drive shaft is mounted rotatably around the drive axis and contains on one at the end, a supporting part for installing disk cutters, and disk cutters mounted on the supporting part and made with the possibility of cutting the face plane. Each disk cutter is rotatable around the respective support axis. The disk cutters are attached to said support part in such a way that the support axes of the disk cutters cross each other at the intersection point on the drive axis and are located within a common conical surface. Disk cutters have the same design. A mining machine containing said cutting head is also described.
