SUBSTANCE: invention refers to traumatology and orthopedics and can be applicable for the surgical treatment of pronational contracture of children and adolescents with spastic forms of cerebral palsy. Surgical approach is performed along the radial margin in the middle third of the forearm. Exit to the attachment site of the distal tendon of the round pronator is performed. Before cutting off from the attachment site, the tendon is stitched with the traction suture. From the same surgical approach, the interosseous membrane is removed from the radial bone at the level of the middle third of the forearm. Moving the tendon of the round pronator onto the back surface of the radius is carried out with the help of the Deschan needle and the traction suture that are carried into the space between the radius bone and the interosseous membrane. Through perforation of the radial bone 1–3 cm proximal to the level of the attachment point of the round pronator in the anteroposterior direction is performed. Incision is performed. Tendon of the round pronator with one-stage supination of the forearm, which is applied to the correction position, is passed into the radial canal from the back surface of the radial bone in the palmar direction. Tendon of the round pronator is fixed in the radial canal with the biodegradable screw.
EFFECT: method ensures the reliable retention of the forearm in the correction position.
