SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to the alignment mechanism and to the sewing machine, which comprises the mentioned mechanism for accurate positioning of the belt loop on the garment while it is being finished. Alignment mechanism (100) is configured with the possibility to install the strip (16) of fabric or other similar material on the garment subject (12), to which the strip (16) is sewn, and which forms the belt loop (10) and consists of the central section and two opposite ends (18, 20), which comprises the means (28, 30) for rotating at least one of the mentioned ends (18, 20) of the strip (16) butt to butt to the central section of the strip (16), which comprises means (34) for guiding at least one of the mentioned two ends (18, 20) of the mentioned strip (16) during rotation, so that it is completely superimposed onto the central section of the strip (16), where the guiding means (34) comprise at least two plates (78, 80), which are disposed substantially perpendicular to the strip (16) and configured with the possibility to be installed transversely while contacting with the opposite side edges of the strip (16), so that at least one of the mentioned two ends (18, 20) is positioned during rotation between the specified plates (78, 80) for guiding the specified plates (78, 80) until their contact with the central section of the strip (16) and complete superimposing onto the central section of the strip (16), the guiding means (34) comprise the first adjusting means (86, 88) for adjusting the distance between at least two plates (78, 80) for setting the guide means (34) over the width of the strip (16).

EFFECT: precise installation of the belt loops on the garment during its finishing.
