SUBSTANCE: shock-bursting tool of the tunnelling machine contains the mechanical impulses generator -impulse drive with the moveable piston, which is housed in the body with the possibility of rotation in the hub relative to the longitudinal axis, using the external drive. The breasting devices of the ram type are installed axially, connected to the impulse drive through the hydraulic manifold. The hydraulic manifold is filled with the dense compliant medium, made in the form of corrugated metal hoses.

EFFECT: increased use of mechanical method to destruct the hard rocks, the opportunity to change the direction of spending the mine workings, increase of the speed and security of field operation, reduction of the power and the metal consumption, the machine overall dimensions.
