FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electrolysis cell for separating wastes of fusible alloys into selective concentrates by electrolysis in molten salts. Electrolysis cell contains an anode and a cathode with current leads, bath formed by walls from a heat-resistant electrical insulating material containing cathode and anode cavities separated by impregnated with an electrolyte porous vertical diaphragms and separated by near-anode and near-cathode annular gaskets with the near-anode and near-cathode cavities formation in the gaps between the diaphragms, wherein in the said gaskets, channels are made for discharging metals into the selective concentrates collectors, anode cavity is formed by a diaphragm and an anode sealing and fixing gasket with a central partition and comprises a U-shaped partition placed in the anode cavity with the formation of siphon windows for the anode alloy overflowing in the lower part with an anode gasket, in the said anode gasket side wall, an inclined channel is formed for the anode alloy drain into the anode alloy waste collector, and metal inserts in the form of strips are installed in said near-anode and near-cathode cavities.
EFFECT: providing an increase in the electrolysis cell productivity by reducing the start-up to the regime duration.
