FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrolysis cell for extracting Indium from alloys melts. Electrolysis cell comprises heated anode bath and heated cathode bath of perforated cylinder, coated with two layers of the diaphragm made of quartz material impregnated with electrolyte, and the bowl inside, circulation pump of anode alloy and anode screen in the form of a cylinder with annular well, holes for irrigation of the diaphragm by anode alloy are made in the cylinder wall along the perimeter, cathode bath is made in the form of a cylinder with perforation in the middle part, on which the inner diaphragm is tightly fixed, and underarm on the bottom perforated cylinder is tightly connected with the pot for collection of cathode alloy, at that, the cathode bath is immersed into the outer diaphragm basket made of quartz material with a gap clearance for electrolyte. Cathode plates made of zinc alloy are used as cathode, vertically suspended on the wall of the cathode bath. Cathode plates can be made of zinc alloy with 1-5 % of magnesium.

EFFECT: reduction of industrial output, increase in extraction of Indium from anode alloy and efficiency of processing of Indium-containing wastes are provided.
