SUBSTANCE: frequency-polarization selector contains the first orthomode transducer, which is a cross-splitter, in arms of which capacitive low-pass filters are installed. The Q-band polarizer realized on a circular waveguide with a groove with two orthogonal outputs is installed at the output of the first orthomode converter. Filters are connected to the second orthomode converter by means of four n-shaped waveguide sections of equal length, one output of the second orthomode converter is short-circuited, a septum polarizer with two orthogonal outputs is connected to the second output through the transformer from circular to square section. In the first orthomode converter, at the node of the quadruple branching, multiple changes in the cross section of the circular waveguide are introduced, as well as the resonant diaphragm introduced into the region of transition to a waveguide of smaller diameter. In the arms of an orthomode converter, broadband low-pass capacitive filters with a variable diaphragm thickness are installed. In the Q-band, the polarizer is implemented on a circular waveguide with an adjustable groove.

EFFECT: possibility of implementing a wideband frequency-polarization selector in high frequency bands and Ka-and Q-band spaced apart by more than an octave.
