SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of armament, namely, to bipods. Long-barrel small-arms rifle bipod with the exchangeable box magazines comprises the hinge unit, the device for attaching to the arms, two legs. Hinge unit has the fixed and movable parts relative to the receiver of the weapon. Device for fastening to the weapon is rigidly connected with the fixed part of the hinge unit. Two legs are rigidly mounted onto the movable part of the hinge assembly at the acute camber angle ϕ, in the V-shaped manner in the transverse plane of the weapon. Movable part of the hinge unit is provided with two sockets with fasteners, similar to the aforementioned staff magazine socket of the weapon with the lock, these fasteners are inclined from each other in the V-shaped manner with the camber angle ϕ, with the possibility of temporary rigid installation of the box weapons magazines in them and of the simultaneous execution of the functions of the said legs.

EFFECT: increased tactical and technical characteristics and capabilities of the long-barrel small-arms weapons are achieved.
