SUBSTANCE: dewatering pump and a clothes dryer having a dewatering pump are offered. Dewatering pump may include a pump casing, and the pump casing may have a suction port for sucking cleaning water. Suction port can be formed in a position corresponding to the impeller, and the pump casing can include a shaft screen, which extends from the edge of the suction port in the center direction of the suction port or to the central part of the suction port to close the lower end of the impeller shaft.
EFFECT: dewatering pump and a clothes dryer having a dewatering pump are offered.
