FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method provides saturation by impregnation of an additional binder and antifriction additive material for the current-conducting contact elements, preforms with the finished dimensions of the contact element, at first, a polymer based on furfuryl alcohol polymerized at a final temperature of 160° C to 220° C in an amount of 5 wt % - 15 wt % is used as a binder, and then as the antifriction additive - a polymer based on furfuryl alcohol, polymerized at a final temperature of 110° C - 160° C in an amount of 1 wt % - 8 wt. %. The method makes it possible to increase the strength of the material for the current-conducting contact elements and resistance to vibratory shock loads, as well as significantly improve the antifriction properties of the material.
EFFECT: increase the electro-erosion resistance of the material of the current-conducting contact elements, eliminate arsons on the contact surface and dye of the material, reduce the wear and increase the resistance of the material to vibratory shock loads.
