FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: flow tube assembly (10) for a magnetic flowmeter is proposed. Flow tube assembly (10) comprises pipe (12) routed from the first mounting flange (14) to the second mounting flange (16). Each of the first and second mounting flanges (14, 16) has surface (15, 17) facing the pipeline flange for attachment to a corresponding pipeline flange. Coil chamber (42) is located outside pipe (12) between the first and second mounting flanges (14, 16). Coil chamber (42) has at least one coil (40) located within the chamber and configured to generate a magnetic field within pipe (12). Sleeve / electrode module (22) is located within pipe (12) and has a non-conductive sleeve, at least one electrode (50, 51) and at least one electrode conductor (76, 78). Non-conductive sleeve extends from the first mounting flange (14) to the second mounting flange (16). At least one electrode (50, 51) is located in the non-conductive sleeve to interact with the electrically conductive process fluid. Electrode conductor (76, 78) extends from at least one electrode (50, 51) to connection terminal (24) adjacent to one of the first and second mounting flanges (14, 16) with pipeline-facing surface. Sleeve / electrode module (22) is configured to be positioned in pipe (12).
EFFECT: technical result is the possibility of replacing the sleeve / electrode assembly without the involvement of an electrician, which reduces the downtime.
