FIELD: food industry; medicine.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a chewing gum comprising a synergistic combination of zinc and containing polyphenols vegetable extracts. Proposed chewing gum consists of at least a first region with a gum base and at least from the second completely water-soluble area without a gum base. Said chewing gum is characterized by the presence of a synergistic combination of an effective amount of vegetable extracts and an effective amount of zinc ions, at least partially contained in completely water-soluble micro-granules. At that, vegetable extracts are selected from magnolia bark extract, green tea extract and combinations thereof. And zinc ions content is in the range of 0.0005 % to 0.05 % by weight, the content of the vegetable extract is in the range of 0.02 % to 2 %.
EFFECT: said chewing gum is useful in treating of the halitosis symptoms.
