FIELD: medicine; sports.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sports medicine and is intended to determine ranking of athletes. Wearer is fastened with a wearable device (helmet, glasses or lenses) that forms augmented reality, which is part of the hardware and software complex. Sequence of paired light pulses (SI) of a predetermined duration of 50 ms, separated by a pause of 150 ms, repeating through a constant time interval of 1.5 s, is fed to the device forming the augmented reality. In the first stage of measurements, the duration of the interimpulse interval (MI) between the light pulses in the pair is reduced for each subsequent presentation discretely with a constant step of 0.5 ms, subject will not determine the moment when two SIs merge in pairs into one. In the second stage of measurements, the duration of MI between SI in the pair is increased at each subsequent presentation discretely with a constant step of 0.1 ms, Subject will not determine the moment of separation of the two SIs in the pair. Time of perception of the visual information is taken equal to the sum of the duration of the SI and the duration of the pause between the two SIs at the time of separation of the two SIs. Rating is calculated as the reciprocal of the time of perception of visual information, multiplied by 150. Subject having a higher rating is regarded as capable of showing higher results in the upcoming competitions.
EFFECT: method ensures accuracy of determining the time of perception of visual information, expands the conditions for its determination, ranks the athletes according to its significance.
