FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering. According to the invention, the device for contactless transmission of electric power to a underwater vehicle comprises: an inverter unit, lowered to the depth of underwater vehicle immersion, primary part of the transformer, made in a separate body, as well as the rectifier unit and the secondary part of the transformer located on the underwater device, also made in a separate body. External outlines of the contact surfaces of the casings connecting walls of the transformer primary and secondary parts are made coincident with the outlines of the device, and the surfaces of the transformer winding ends and the magnetic shields ends of these windings are made similar to the external surfaces of the casings connecting walls of the transformer primary and secondary parts.
EFFECT: technical effect: increased transmitted power from the primary to the secondary transformer winding and, correspondingly, reduced battery charge time of the underwater vehicle.
