FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a PMMA impact-modified molding composition. Molding composition comprises respectively, based on its total weight, components (I), (II), (III), (IV), where (I) is from 10.0 to 50.0 % by weight and is at least one core-shell-shell particle produced or can be produced by the method as in claim 1, the relative proportions of all the substances A) to J) when producing the core-shell-shell particle are chosen so that core-shell-shell particles having an overall radius, measured by the Coulter method is in the range of 70.0 to 125.0 nm, (II) in the range from 1.0 to 90.0 % by weight, and is of at least one (meth) acrylic polymer, (III) from 0.0 to 45 % by weight, and is of styrene-acrylonitrile copolymers, and (IV) from 0.0 to 10.0 % by weight of other additives, where the percentages by weight of components (I) to (IV) give a total of 100.0 % by weight. Component (II) or mixture of components of (II), (III) and/or (IV) are chosen so that such that the refractive index measured in accordance with ASTM D542 differs from the refractive index of (I) by no more than 0.01. Molded article and molding composition applications and the molded article are also claimed.
EFFECT: technical result is impact-resistant PMMA with improved optical properties at high temperatures.
